(Congress Report) – Everybody’s least favorite Democratic Socialist, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, decided to take an opportunity to share some of her wisdom concerning the seizure of real estate assets from former President Donald Trump. I believe the phrase, “stay in your lane” is applicable here. AOC’s lane being bartending, of course, and certainly not lawmaking. Everyone has a place to serve, right?
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appeared on Sunday’s edition of ‘State of the Union’ on CNN where she discussed Monday’s expected move by New York Attorney General Letitia James to begin the process of stealing Trump’s buildings and golf courses to satisfy the $464 million judgment against him,” BizPac Review noted.
“Proudly showing that the ‘C’ in AOC should stand for Communist, the mouth that never shuts insisted that the presumptive GOP nominee’s property must be heisted from him because of what she claimed was taking a “risk” of political corruption by not doing so,” the report continued.
I guess AOC has never heard the old adage that says the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money. Or in this case, property. Ocasio-Cortez is displaying her true colors here. Every person who is a socialist has shown over the last three years that they are really just Communist-lite, looking for ways to justify the eradication of private property ownership as part of their transformational agenda for the country.

“I think that what we are dealing with politically is the much larger and much more grave and serious pressure of having this judgment against Donald Trump and him being in this degree of debt and the financial pressures that he is under and what he is subject to do in order to obtain those assets,” Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed in the interview.
“I actually think that there is risk in not seizing these assets and the open window that exists in him trying to secure these funds through other means,” she continued. “We’ve seen a lot of interesting transactions happening with Truth Social and other means. And there’s a very real risk of political corruption.”
The comments Ocasio-Cortez made during the program are weak and pathetic excuses to allow the “political corruption” of the legal system in New York City, and especially that of James, who campaigned on the promise of prosecuting Trump, to continue unhindered. James has made it no secret she’s chomping at the bit to seize Trump’s property. These people want to destroy him and his whole life for daring to dismantle some of their infrastructure the last time he was in office. And they hope that doing so will keep Trump from sticking around through this year’s election cycle.
“We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I look at 40 Wall Street each and every day,” James explained during an interview with ABC News in February.
“I think Attorney General James has been handling this case with tremendous skill. It’s ultimately up to her determination, but it is my belief that all people should be treated equally under the law. And if that seizure of assets would be pursued to any other American then Donald Trump should be treated the same,” Ocasio-Cortez remarked, which is a lie.
Show host Jake Tapper then went over a list of all the current prosecutions Trump is going through and asked what she might say to independent voters, which didn’t sit well with AOC.

“Has there ever been a president, Republican or Democrat, that has been subject to this level of criminal charges, indictments, & investigations? This is not about party, this is not about politics. This is about corruption & criminality. We‘re talking about an individual who ordered essentially a terrorist attack on the capital of the United States in order to retain power,” AOC stated.
Tapper didn’t even bother to do his job and offer any sort of push back against the false accusation made by the congresswoman.
“There was once a time when the promotion of communist ideals in the mainstream media would have never been allowed on the air with such sentiments exiled to the extreme fringe, now they are exalted, with AOC’s mentor Bernie Sanders also getting regular face time on the Sunday morning shows,” the piece concluded.

Horse Face doesn’t have a clue about anything! If she spent more time really studying in college, she might be a little more up on what the world is like in larger business operations. This, along with all the others, was nothing more than political prosecution. There was no victim in the case…the banks were pleased with everything. That is the part that I do not understand.
