(Congress Report) – There really isn’t much at this point that Democrats could say that would be shocking. That’s what I thought. And then the left said, “Hold my beer.” We should never underestimate the total depravity of the modern-day Democratic Party, which has moved so far to the left you need a spyglass to see it.
According to Kevin Haggerty of BizPac Review, a House Democrat may have let their true feelings about former President Donald Trump slip during a recent interview, where the former impeachment manager seemed to voice a permanent solution for handling him. I’m pretty sure you can read between the lines here.
“Democratic congressional Delegate Stacey Plaskett, a non-voting representative for the Virgin Islands who served as a House manager during the second impeachment of Trump, joined MSNBC’s ‘The Sunday Show’ where a momentary slip of the tongue presented a serious cause for concern,” Haggerty wrote.
“The ranking member of the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government had joined the program to talk about the president’s federal indictment related to his possession of documents marked classified,” he continued in his article.
Plaskett, who seems to be a believer in the legal philosophy that a person accused of wrongdoing is guilty until proven innocent — which is impossible to do, by the way — went on to tell host Jonathan Capehart, “Having Trump not only have had the codes but now having the classified information for Americans and being able to put that out and share it in his resort with anyone and everyone who comes through should be terrifying to all Americans.”
And then, without wasting a moment of time, she remarked, “And he needs to be shot — stopped.”

Whoa. Did she just say shot? As in bang, bang? She quickly corrected herself, but come on now, that’s a crazy slip up, wouldn’t you say? Could this be Plaskett’s true feelings escaping from the dark recesses of her mind?
“Reacting to the comment, many wondered where the corporate media outrage was after such an overt ‘incitement of violence’ and whether or not she would be getting a knock on her door from the U.S. Secret Service for threatening the life of a former president,” Haggerty reported.

But guess what, folks? That wasn’t the only controversial remark Plaskett made during her appearance on the program. She had a few more choice things to say concerning GOP-led efforts to strike back against potential abuse of power from the federal government, namely the weaponization of the Justice Department.
Plaskett took aim at the Republican Party’s claims of a two-tiered justice system, despite the fact they have plenty of evidence to support the notion, saying they are attempting to be “above the law.”
“We know that this is a reckless man, who believes that he is above the law, that the rules do not apply to him — and that’s the thing that I’m concerned about with many of my colleagues in the GOP — that they believe that there is a two-tiered system. But the two-tiered system is not to punish them more,” she argued. “It’s to — they want it to allow them to get away with more than everyday Americans.”
Haggerty then pointed out, “This from the same delegate who had threatened journalist Matt Taibbi with jail time over an error in sworn testimony after he had used the wrong acronym for the Center for Internet Security (CIS), inadvertently referring to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).”
“This mistake is important,” Plaskett stated in a letter concerning Taibbi’s testimony on the Twitter Files which helped expose the extent of Big Tech and federal agencies’ efforts to censor information from the public, “because, by adding an ‘A,’ you weren’t making a harmless spelling error. Rather you were alleging that CISA — a government entity — was working with the EIP [Election Integrity Partnership] to have posts removed from social media.”
