MUST-SEE: Berkeley Professor Can’t Handle 1 Question From Sen. Josh Hawley

(Congress Report) – Khiara Bridges is a professor by occupation, but it was her who got schooled on Tuesday by Republican Sen. Josh Hawley, and the lessons were pretty rough on the super radical leftist educator. It was a blast to watch, though. True, authentic political entertainment.

According to The Western Journal, Hawley, hailing from Missouri, opened up his line of questioning during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the potential legal aftermath of the Supreme Court finally overturning the extremely unconstitutional 1973 Roe v. Wade decision in June, by focusing on basic human biology that even a small child would be familiar with.

What’s truly humiliating is that this professor of law could not give a solid, straight answer to the question, which then turned into an entire exchange where Bridges embarrassed herself.

You can see the exchange in the video down below:

Hawley, the former attorney general for Missouri, and an extremely skilled interrogator, kicked off his questions with a few easy ones to sort of warm Bridges up.

“Professor Bridges, you’ve said several times, you’ve used a phrase, I want to make sure I understand what you mean by it. You’ve referred to ‘people with a capacity for pregnancy.’ Would that be women?” Hawley asked.

It’s truly amazing that Hawley was able to prevent himself from bursting into laughter at this point because it’s absurd, hilariously so, that this is a question in our day and age that needs to be asked. There’s a good chance he was well aware that the witness was going to tap dance around the question like Danny Kaye in a Christmas movie, which is why he asked it in the first place.

“Many women — cis women — have the capacity for pregnancy. Many cis women do not have the capacity for pregnancy,” Bridges replied. “There are also trans men who are capable of pregnancy as well as nonbinary people who are capable of pregnancy.”

At that point, Hawley made the suggestion that Bridges’ answer to the question removed the issue of abortion out of the topic of women’s rights, she fired back with an answer that probably sounded brilliant in her head or in the faculty lounge of the echo chamber that is a major university, but it’s total and utter nonsense to a regular, normal human being.

“We can recognize that this impacts women while also recognizing that it impacts other groups,” she stated, almost seeming giddy with her own self-perceived genius. “Those things are not mutually exclusive, Sen. Hawley.”

Bridges then accused Hawley of being “transphobic” and alleged that his comments invited violence against transgender folk.

But Hawley wasn’t buying the nonsense Bridges was selling.

“Wow, you’re saying that I’m opening up people to violence by asking whether or not women are the folks who can have pregnancies?” he asked.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the one question these radical, science denying leftists just can’t answer.

“They can pull dodges like then-Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson claiming she couldn’t define ‘women’ because “I’m not a biologist.’ They can take refuge in scary factoids, as Bridges did by throwing out the statistic that ‘one out of five transgender persons have attempted suicide,'” the Western Journal noted.

However, what they cannot do is give a coherent answer that has been an established part of human experience and confirmed by the study of biology since pretty much the beginning of time. It’s pathetic, maddening, and a sure sign of mental illness on behalf of the left.

“In the current political environment, cosseted by an establishment media that’s either too corrupt or too cowardly to call them on it, activists like Bridges have been able to get away with the pretense that sex is a matter of individual choice, that there are no objective differences between men and women, that human agency is the real authority rather than creation itself,” the report continued.

However, the professor’s use of semantics did not phase Hawley, just as they would not work on any person with a basic education — before liberals really went haywire with the indoctrination — would have been recognized as malarkey, to borrow a favorite word of Joe Biden’s.

Amazingly, this one question, about whether or not only women can get pregnant, was one that this law professor just could not handle.

“Is this how you run your classroom?” Hawley went on to ask Bridges. “Are students allowed to question you, or are they also treated like this?”

“We have a good time in my class. You should join,” Bridges retorted. “You would learn a lot.”

“Wow, I would learn a lot,” Hawley said, with a thick layer of sarcasm. “I’ve learned a lot in this exchange. Extraordinary.”
