JUST IN: ‘SWAT’ Attack Launched On Marjorie Taylor Greene — Please Pray

(Congress Report) – Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who is one of the most stalwart conservatives in the House of Representatives and has been rumored to be in consideration for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s job should Republicans take control of the House this fall, recently revealed that her house was “swatted” in the early hours of Wednesday morning, a vile practice concocted by the radical left that could’ve caused her to lose her life.

According to a report from Just the News, Greene went on to describe what happened, saying, “Just after 1 a.m. I was awakened by knocks on my door and hearing people right outside my bedroom windows and saw flashlights. I jumped up, got dressed and picked up my gun to carry with me to the door as I normally do, especially in the middle of the night, when I’m not expecting company. But I had a gut feeling, don’t carry your gun.”

For those who might not know what “swatting” is, it’s when a person calls the police department and then reports a crime in progress at the home of an individual they don’t like. This results in police officers and possibly a SWAT team, to be sent out to the person’s house, weapons drawn, which increases the chances that an individual residing inside the home could end up severely injured or even dead.

“Someone called 911 and said that someone had been shot five times in the chest in a bathtub in my house, and that there were children in the home,” Greene went on to say during an appearance on Just the News, Not Noise. “They (the police) were responding to what would normally be — if it were real, a very serious situation where more people could have been killed, or perhaps a suicide.”

Greene then pointed out that the swat on her home could have led to her being killed by police officers.

“I’m so proud of my local law enforcement,” Greene said, heaping praise on police. “They came to my house very quickly. They were prepared tactically to handle such a terrible situation. But then we quickly realized what it was and it was an awful prank on both of us. Not only me, that could have caused me to be killed by the police.”

According to the report from the Rome Police Department, at around 1:03 a.m. “officers responded to a 911 call reference to a subject being shot multiple times at an address within the city limits. When officers responded they discovered this was the home of Marjorie Taylor Greene. She assured the officers there was no issue, and the call was determined to be a false call commonly known as ‘swatting.'”

“The department said it also received a second call – from the suspect – who was using a computer generated voice stating that he/she was upset about Mrs. Greene’s political views on transgender youth rights. Rep. Greene has recently introduced a bill that would make “gender affirming care” for minors a felony,” the report revealed.

All of this was done because someone disagreed with a new piece of legislation that Greene is working to get passed that would prevent children from being subjected to what is basically genital mutilation under the guise of transgenderism. Isn’t that sick and disgusting?

What happened to the days when we used to have heated conversations and debates in a civilized manner, presenting our beliefs on the battlefield of ideas rather than trying to actively or passively harm one another physically?

“I’m not going to stop,” Greene said defiantly on Just the News, Not Noise. “I am convicted even more so in this legislation and how important it is. Kids need to be protected and their innocence needs to be protected and their bodies need to be protected until they become adults and they can make rational decisions.”

According to a report from Fox 5 Atlanta, Greene isn’t the only GOP lawmaker in the state of Georgia who has become a victim of swatting. In July, former candidate for governor Kandiss Taylor revealed that both she and her family had been the victims of a “swatting” call.

“Calling the incident ‘traumatizing,'” Taylor said someone had called police and falsely claimed that someone had been murdered at her home,” the report went on to say.

“I don’t care what political party you are – this is evil. This is not OK. And I will find out who swatted my house. And I will do everything in my power to bring them to justice,” she said, commenting on the harrowing experience.

The Rome Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is now working with Capitol Police to investigate the incident.
