(Congress Report) – One of the great injustices of our time is how illegal aliens, lawbreakers, can simply waltz across the southern border we share with Mexico and then be hooked up with all kinds of free goodies — housing, food, healthcare — all courtesy of the American taxpayer, just so liberal Democrats can puff up their voter rolls, ensuring they win elections and stay in power. We’ve witnessed record numbers of illegals coming into the country thanks to the Biden administration’s open border policy. And make no mistake about it. That’s what it is. An open border.
However, despite all of the “free” stuff illegal aliens currently receive, many Democrats in the House of Representatives do not feel they are being given enough privileges. At least that’s what a letter sent out to President Joe Biden over the weekend stated, according to Richard Moorhead of The Western Journal.
Over 100 House Democrats signed onto the letter, which was delivered to the president on Sunday, outlining three benefits they feel Biden needs to provide for those violating our nation’s sovereignty and its immigration laws. In reality, the only thing these people deserve is to be sent back home or jailed for breaking the law. It would most certainly happen to an American crossing into Mexico illegally. You can guarantee that.
Biden was not the letter’s only recipient. A copy was also addressed to current Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas.
In the letter, House Democrats called for the president to take executive action in order to benefit the interests of “certain undocumented individuals who are stuck in limbo and asylum seekers in obtaining work authorization.”
“They asked for expedited work authorization for illegals — skipping the statutory 150 days an asylum seeker usually requires before applying for a work permit,” Moorhead wrote.
“The administration could assist asylum seekers and their communities by increasing the use of parole and decreasing the regulatory 150-day wait period for asylum seekers to apply for work authorization,” the letter noted.
This is not a good idea. I know, I know. That’s a woeful understatement. A study that was completed by immigration economist George Borjas revealed that allowing foreign nationals to come into the labor market in the United States ultimately results in a major reduction in wages paid out to American workers. To summarize, it’s bad for the economy.
“The immigration surplus of $35 billion comes from reducing the wages of natives in competition with immigrants by an estimated $402 billion a year, while increasing profits or the incomes of users of immigrants by an estimated $437 billion,” Borjas’ study divulged.
The letter also made a request that wait times for illegal aliens already here in the U.S. to receive provisional immigrant visas be reduced.
“The provisional waiver process allows individuals who are statutorily eligible for an immigrant visa but for their unlawful presence in the country to apply for a waiver of inadmissibility in the United States before they depart for their immigrant visa interview,” the representatives went on to say.
“The American asylum system has been flooded by record-setting levels of illegal immigration under Biden’s administration, creating a backlog of cases for the immigration courts,” Moorhead explained. “The Democrats also request a streamlined procedure in which illegal aliens ruled deportable in courts can request the cancellation of their removal proceedings — ensuring they’ll stay in the country in defiance of the law.”
“Lastly, we encourage the administration to establish a process to make non-lawful permanent resident cancellation of removal (cancellation of removal) more accessible to those who are eligible. Such a process would help to streamline cancellation of removal cases and increase access to lawful permanent resident status for immigrants who are vital contributors to their American families and our communities,” the letter added.
The 100 plus Democrats claimed that “extreme MAGA Republican opposition” is why they weren’t able to create bills designed to help provide illegals with new benefits through Congress. That’s likely true. And it’s a good thing. It means that Democrats can’t just side step the American people by shoving bills through the House that are bad for our country.
“Democratic Reps. Pramila Jayapal of Washington and Jerry Nadler of New York are among the members of Congress to sign the letter,” The Western Journal said in its report.
Immigrants are America and it is essential that we protect them.

As of now, there’s been no formal response to the letter from the Biden administration.

The freeloading border crossers think America owes them free housing, food and a job at the American tax payers expense. While our Disabled Vets live on the streets. We have Americans of low income that don’t get free housing and food living paycheck to paycheck and when they loose their jobs the loose their homes and in up on the streets. Who will house and feed this multitude of Illiterate, Largely Unskilled Illegals? Who Joe? Already, the City of New York is pleading, No Demanding that it’s Citizens begin to House, Feed and Care for Thousands of Illegals with more pouring into the City each day! Sheer Madness!
I don’t know who writes this article…but it makes a lot of errors, deliberately in my opinion. If illegal immigrants were voting in our elections this past presidential election would have 100% found it!
