(Congress Report) – Dick Morris, who was once an adviser for former President Bill Clinton and is currently serving as one for former President Donald Trump, has predicted during an interview on Newsmax that President Joe Biden will remain involved in the primary election but a different individual will be the nominee at the Democratic National Convention, where he believes Biden will exit the race. Given the negative polling data, the constant gaffes that betray all attempts to hide his cognitive decline, plus the lack of faith that voters and fellow Democrats in Congress have in his ability to beat Trump in the general election, I’d say this is a pretty good guess.
According to Sandy Fitzgerald of Newsmax, Morris, during an appearance on “Wake Up America” revealed he came up with the theory in partnership with his friend and pollster John McLaughlin. He said the president would run in the primary and likely be mostly unopposed, getting the delegates for the convention.
“They will keep them until a few days before the convention and then he would announce he’s not running, release his delegates, and there would be a floor fight for the nomination,” Morris declared during the interview. “But at least there wouldn’t be a long primary battle.”
Morris then noted that Democrats don’t want to have a long fight in the primary season so as to avoid having their candidates defend issues like reparations, transgender men in women’s sports and things that would cause problems with voters. Also, in my opinion, this sort of thing would create the idea of schism within the Democratic Party, and one of the major tenets of the left has been their ability to stand united on a set of dogma. Yeah, sure, it’s groupthink, but the vast majority of folks that liberalism appeals to are more concerned with emotions and feeling good about who they back for political positions, thus feeling connected to each other and looking united is critical.
During the conversation on the program, Morris took an opportunity to chat about his new book, “Corrupt: The Inside Story of Biden’s Dark Money,” revealing to the news outlet that it chronicles the complete history of corruption inherent within the Biden family.
“Biden basically sent his family around the world to make business deals for him that were corrupt, largely traded on his name, and then he got cut in on it,” Morris stated.
He then asserted that the most important takeaway from the book is not what Biden managed to get out of China — a whole lot of money — but what China pulled out of Biden. And that no doubt has allowed them to prosper, becoming more powerful and influential on the global stage. That is bad news for everyone.
“Lots of very important policy decisions went China’s way,” Morris remarked, going on to add that one example is a Chinese law concerning businesses coming into the communist nation.
“You have to release all of the information about your patents, your industrial secrets, or anything else that is helping your company, and you have to take a Chinese partner company in an arranged marriage, and they get 51% of your company,” Morris commented concerning the law.
He then explained Biden has taken no action to stop that, however, if Trump gets another term in the White House, he can slap China with trade sanctions and make a solid push to repeal the law.

Allowed trucks to deliver ballots in the morning and told to be quiet. Dead people voting. Thousands. Just California. That is why for four plus years Trump was verbally attacked. Paid for Russian collusion misinformation. If there wasn’t a threat, why all this corruption? Socialist, Marxist, Communist, agenda.Add the border. Millions of people. Endangering American lives as well as the immigrants. Human trafficking. Drugs like fentanyl. Pushed the masks, lockdowns, shut businesses and schools down. Banned free speech. They can do whatever they wanted. No one could disagree with the narrative without being called something. White Supremacist, Deplorable, MAGA, parents are now terrorists, or the old threat to Democracy. That is a lot of bad things. Trump got lied about. Put on January 6 biased, lie Committee. Now this. Weird.
