BREAKING: Hunter Biden Pleads Not Guilty

(Congress Report) – On Tuesday, Hunter Biden, the troubled younger son of President Joe Biden pleaded not guilty to a series of three federal gun charges that have been brought against him by Special Counsel David Weiss. He is being accused of lying about his use of illegal drugs on a form to purchase a firearm in October of 2018. Biden then kept the weapon for 11 days. If convicted, he could face a whopping 25 years behind bars. Hunter deserves every day of that and then some.

According to a report from Fox News, “Defense attorney Abbe Lowell said in court the defense will file a motion to dismiss the charges, challenging their constitutionality. An appeals court previously found that a federal ban on drug users having guns violates the Second Amendment under recent Supreme Court precedent.”

Earlier this past summer, the son of the president made a sweetheart deal with prosecutors where he agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax charges and would have avoided being prosecuted for the gun charges altogether, so long as he managed to keep himself from snorting cocaine for a period of two years. This was all the result of a year-long investigation into Hunter led by federal prosecutors looking into many of his shady business operations involving foreign entities. If the deal had not fallen through, it likely would have spared President Biden a whole lot of bad news coverage during a vital election cycle for Democrats.

“Now, Weiss was appointed special counsel and is considering tax charges against Hunter Biden as well. If additional charges are filed, they could come in Washington or in California, where Biden lives,” the piece noted. “Meanwhile in Congress, House Republicans are searching for a link between Hunter Biden’s business dealings and his father as part of an impeachment inquiry into his father, President Biden, who is running for re-election in 2024 amid the political tumult.”

A district judge in the state of Delaware where the case is being tried granted the first son conditional release. Some of the conditions that are part of the release include getting a job and communicating all of his international travel plans. He is not allowed to possess a gun, cannot partake of his favorite vices like drugs and alcohol and any medications he takes have to be prescribed. The big doozy Hunter likely hates with every fiber of his being is to partake in random drug testing and counseling sessions for his addictions.

Fox News divulged, “Hunter Biden pled not guilty Tuesday to one count of making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.”

Abbe Lowell, the attorney representing the younger Biden, stated that he would be filing a motion to have the federal case against his client tossed out.

“Abbe Lowell also said the motion to dismiss would also include a debate about the constitutionality about statutes that have been discussed. Lowell added that he will be making a request for an evidentiary hearing. Overall Tuesday’s hearing was short. Biden was in court for about 20 minutes, starting at 10:00 a.m. ET and ending at 10:20,” the report concluded.

  1. He should be asked if he made the gun application as stated, or not….pin him down on what he’s stating as the truth. Secondly, where are the gun activists…wht aren’t they protesting, demanding Hunter be jailed?
