(Congress Report) – It seems that soon-to-be former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who won her bid for re-election for the 18th time — she’s been a public servant in the House since June 1987 — is getting grumpier by the day. I mean, she’s never really been the most pleasant person, but here over the last several weeks, she’s really been hostile, especially when a reporter asks her a tough question that is geared toward holding her accountable and also providing answers to questions Americans are asking.
Take her total lack of professionalism when a reporter asked her if she will continue to serve another two years and complete the next term, which is something she apparently doesn’t want to be asked, given how she practically bit the reporter’s head off in response.
“Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?” a reporter asked, according to The Western Journal.
“What is this? What is this?” Pelosi responded, growing visibly agitated.
“Don’t bother me with a question like that. Really. Really, OK? I said what I’m gonna do,” she stated, without actually providing an answer for what she was going to do. “You know?”
“Those kind of questions are such a waste of my time,” she concluded.
Well, if we’re being honest, the time it took to stumble, grumble, and mumble her response to the question wasted far more time than a simple “yes” or “no” would have, but hey, I’m not a lifelong progressive elite so what do I know?
Here’s a video of the press conference:
RNC Research shared a clip on Twitter and decided to give their two cents on Pelosi’s grouchy non-response to the question posed to her during the press conference.

It took her longer to rebuff the question than answer it. 🤨

Simply answering 'yes' or 'no' and "Next question." would have been a much less waste of time than her response.

A waste of her time. Her response took more time than her answer would have 🤷🏻♀️

“Silence, peasant” vibe is strong with her.

The people of San Francisco are a waste of everybody's time.

Perhaps part of the reason Pelosi was so annoyed by the question is because she doesn’t actually plan to finish out her term in office? I mean, she probably should not have even bothered to run again at all, given she’s older than dirt, but that apparently didn’t stop her from giving it one last shot. Why would she do this? Who knows?
All I know is, it will be a happy, happy day when she’s no longer in the public sphere.
