WATCH: Elon Musk’s ‘Amazing’ Kamala Parody Sparks Media Frenzy

(Congress Report) – Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of social media platform X, shared an incredibly funny video that was meant to be a parody “spoof” of Vice President Kamala Harris. As you can probably imagine, leftists in the media lost their minds over it and immediately went on the attack to defend their new golden child, who, just a few weeks ago, many of them referred to as the most unelectable Democrat in the party. Funny how quickly the tune changed.

“I, Kamala Harris, am your Democrat candidate for president because Joe Biden finally exposed his senility at the debate. Thanks Joe,” Kamala seems to say in the fake ad. “I was selected because I am the ultimate diversity hire. I’m both a woman and a person of color, so if you criticize anything I say, you’re both sexist and racist.”

“I may not know the first thing about running the country, but remember, that’s a good thing if you’re a Deep State puppet. …Joe taught me Rule #1: Carefully hide your total incompetence,” she proclaims in the video. “I take insignificant things and I discuss them as if they’re significant, and I believe that exploring the significance of the insignificant is, in itself, significant.”

As of Sunday afternoon, the video had pulled in an incredible 123 million views since it was first published on Friday morning by @MrReaganUSA, who clearly stated in the post itself the video was a “parody,” meaning not real. However, when Musk shared it, he did not include a comment clarifying that.

The clip itself is an edit over a campaign ad that Harris put out, which took images of former President Donald Trump and JD Vance, his vice presidential running mate, and put pictures of President Joe Biden in their place. Musk included a laughing emoji, which you’d think would be a hint for those who see the video to recognize that it’s a parody, but alas, that’s assuming liberals are both sincere and competent.

Laura Loomer, a popular conservative activist and investigative journalist remarked, “They should run this on TV.”

One commenter said, “Finally, an honest campaign ad.”

Yet another called the ad “brilliant.”

Leftist rag, The New York Times, published an article about the parody with a headline that read, “Elon Musk Shares Manipulated Harris Video, in Seeming Violation of X’s Policies.” Yeah, the joke clearly went a thousand feet over their heads, didn’t it?

The piece, written by Ken Bensinger, went on to say, “Mr. Musk’s post … would seem to run afoul of X’s policies, which prohibit sharing ‘synthetic, manipulated or out-of-context media that may deceive or confuse people and lead to harm.'”

“Some observers quickly called out the post. ‘This is a violation of @X’s policies on synthetic media & misleading identities,’ Alex Howard, a digital governance expert and the director of the Digital Democracy Project at the Demand Progress Education Fund, posted on the site on Saturday. ‘Are you going to retroactively change them to allow violations in an election year?'” he penned.

The article then says, “Pro-democracy groups have raised increasingly urgent alarms about deepfakes, a broad term for digital content that employs artificial intelligence and other technology to create audio, video or images that spread false information and could influence voter behavior. The Federal Election Campaign Act prohibits fraudulent misrepresentation of federal candidates or political parties, but the law, written in 1971, is ambiguous when it comes to modern technologies such as artificial intelligence.”

Even the Harris campaign took up the NY Times narrative, despite it being 100 percent false, going on to respond to the video by saying, “We believe the American people want the real freedom, opportunity, and security Vice President Harris is offering; not the fake, manipulated lies of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.”

I guess when you think about how badly the vice president failed at the only task she was given by President Biden, dealing with the border crisis, we shouldn’t be shocked by the high level of incompetence coming from her campaign.
