Son Of Democrat House Minority Whip Arrested For Assaulting Cop At Antifa Event

(Congress Report) – Remember when Joe Biden was running for president and he was asked about radical left-wing terrorist organization, Antifa, and he essentially denied they existed, saying they were just an “idea?” The same group that showed up at protests all around the country in 2020 to assist Black Lives Matter in burning down cities in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. And who can forget when they used to throw concrete milkshakes at conservatives?

But they are just an idea.

Well, as per The Post Millennial, the son of Democrat House Minority Whip Katherine M. Clark was arrested for participating in a riot started by the “idea” in Boston after he allegedly vandalized personal property and has been charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. My, this sure is a violent “idea” wouldn’t you say?

“According to the Boston Police Department, at about 9:30 pm officers responded to a protest at the Parkman Bandstand Monument located in the Boston Common. ‘Upon arrival officers observed an individual defacing the monument with spray paint. The tagging read ‘NO COP CITY’ and ‘ACAB,'” authorities said. The phrases are commonly utilized by anti-police Antifa activists, including the ones rioting in the Atlanta ‘autonomous zone,'” Olivia Rondeau wrote for PM. “The suspect was later identified as Jared Dowell, 23, of Melrose. AntifaWatch pointed out that the suspect is likely the child of the Democratic politician.”

Clark tweeted later on that the child was her daughter.

The online biography for Rep. Clark listed “Jared Dowell” as her kid.

Rondeau then revealed that while Dowell was being taken into custody, a group of 20 protesters surrounded police officers and started “screaming profanities through megaphones,” a statement from the department read. All of this was happening on a public street, which led to traffic coming to a standstill.

“While interfering with the arrest of Jared Dowell, an officer was hit in the face and could be seen bleeding from the nose and mouth,” the statement continued.

“BPD added that after Dowell was successfully placed under arrest, he was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, and destruction or injury of personal property and damage of property by graffiti/tagging,” Rondeau noted in her report.

Dowel will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.

“On Saturday night, Atlanta-based Antifa members took to the streets to throw rocks at and light fires outside of the Atlanta Police Foundation after the now-suspended Atlanta Forest Twitter account called for a ‘night of rage’ following the fatal shooting of one of their members, 26-year-old Manuel Esteban Paez Teran,” Rondeau stated.

Manuel Esteban Paez Teran was shot and killed after he himself allegedly opened fire and struck a police officer who was part of an operation to clear out the Antifa-occupied autonomous zone that was referred to as “Cop City,” which is a location where the Atlanta Police Department Training Facility is going to be built. The officer was taken to an intensive care unit and treated.

But just remember, folks. Antifa does not exist. What does not exist cannot hurt you, therefore, this police officer was not really hurt. That’s the logic of the left.
