MUST-SEE: RFK Jr. Comes To The Defense Of Trump

(Congress Report) – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a liberal independent candidate running for president, is extremely appalled by the recent decision in Colorado. Left-wing activist judges sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court issued a ruling this week to ban former President Donald Trump from the GOP primary ballot, stating the 14th Amendment disqualifies him due to their allegations he was the cause of the Capitol building incursion on Jan. 6, 2021.

According to The Western Journal, “Despite a lower court in the state saying the opposite, the high court is working to thwart democracy, RFK Jr. says. He blasted the decision as something a banana republic would do.”

“Trump blocked from the ballot in Colorado. When a court in another country disqualifies an opposition candidate from running, we say, ‘That’s not a real democracy.’ Now it’s happening here,” Kennedy said in a post published on social media Tuesday.

His next post stated, “I’m not a Trump supporter (if I were, I wouldn’t be running against him!) But I want to beat him in a fair election, not because he was kicked off the ballot. Let the voters choose, not the courts!”

This is the right answer, ladies and gentlemen. Even if you vehemently disagree on every single issue with someone who is running for a particular seat, you should want them to have the freedom to toss their hat in the ring and allow the American people to choose for themselves who should lead the country.

“The Colorado Republican Party is also aghast at this obscenely partisan ruling. They have even claimed they will put an end to their participation in the state primaries if this ruling holds. Kennedy, though, was far from done commenting on this attack on American democracy. He posted a longer thread on the issue not long after the posts mentioned above,” the report continued.

“Every American should be troubled by the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove President Trump from the ballot. The court has deprived him of a consequential right without having been convicted of a crime,” the former Democrat candidate went on to write.

“This was done without an evidentiary hearing in which he is given the basic right of confronting his accusers. When any candidate is deprived of his right to run, the American people are deprived of their right to choose,” RFK Jr. added.

“I hope the Colorado Supreme Court swiftly reverses this decision. At the very least, it contributes to the perception that the elites are picking the President by manipulating the legal system, and through other interventions,” the leftist presidential candidate remarked, adding, “If Trump is kept out of office through judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election, his supporters will never accept the result. This country will become ungovernable.”

“It’s time to trust the voters. It is up to the people to decide who the best candidate is. Not the courts. The people. That’s Democracy 101,” he finished.

Pharmaceutical executive Vivek Ramaswamy, also running for the Republican Party nomination, expressed his disgust with the ruling and promised that he would yank his name off the state’s primary ballot to stand in solidarity with the former president if the ruling was allowed to stand.

“This is what an *actual* attack on democracy looks like: in an un-American, unconstitutional, and *unprecedented* decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado,” Ramaswamy noted in a post on Tuesday. “Having tried every trick in the book to eliminate President Trump from running in this election, the bipartisan Establishment is now deploying a new tactic to bar him from ever holding office again: the 14th Amendment. I pledge to *withdraw* from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately – or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country.”

For those who might not have already known, the four judges who voted in favor of banning Trump from the ballot are appointees of the left. And all of them have track records of donating cash to political campaigns for Democrats.

“So, who are these four partisan political operatives? Justices Richard L. Gabriel, William, W. Hood III, Melissa Hart, and Monica Márquez — mostly Ivy Leaguers — voted for the majority. Three other justices dissented,” The Western Journal reported. “Gabriel was longtime property lawyer, but is also a jazz musician who has been accused — but cleared in an investigation — of gender discrimination and harassment,” the Daily Mail divulged.

For the majority of her career, Justice Melissa Hart was a professor. And this is chock full of irony, but it seems she was also once accused of racial and age discrimination against a black job applicant, though a federal judge tossed the case.

Justice Monica Marquez helped the radical left fulfill their diversity quota by being a gay activist and the “first Latina Justice” which really tickled hardcore progressives in the Democratic Party.

  1. Yall best understand, ya not just defending trump. Ya defeating everyone’s free vote. If ya really OK with them telling ya who you can vote for, then take it like a man and shut up. But if ya value free voting, then stand up and be counted. Cause if the democrats get their way, we will have a one person voting system like China and Russia. You can vote for them or not . But they will still win being the only one in the race. First They attacked free speech, then ya 2nd amendment, and not ya votes. And not one shot fired. The people took a knee and gave every right up like sheep. If we do not stop this BS now it will only get worse. So by saving trump, we save every free election in the future. That’s what’s at stake here. So choose wisely, you only get one chance at this.
