GOP Congresswoman Files Resolution To Fine Adam Schiff $16 Million For Pushing Russian Collusion Lie

(Congress Report) – Every true, red-blooded American wants to see accountability for politicians that have been elected into office as these individuals were chosen to represent us, our values, and our best interests. What usually ends up happening, however, is that those who go to Washington end up getting sucked down into the swamp, taking advantage of the power and prestige they have at their disposal in order to become wealthy and to play a part in pushing their own — or their party’s — agenda.

Quite frankly, the American people are sick and tired of seeing elected officials like California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff get away with corruption and pushing hoaxes such as the Russian collusion nonsense cooked up by twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her 2016 campaign, aimed at swaying votes away from then-candidate Donald Trump.

No one has been held accountable for their part in perpetrating the hoax and for interfering in the election. This is proof we have a two-tiered justice system where powerful politicians, especially Democrats, get away with corruption and lawbreaking on a regular basis without facing any sort of legitimate consequences.

This is why, according to BizPac Review, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna took steps to try and hold Schiff accountable for his part in the hoax by introducing a new resolution that would slap the congressman with a $16 million fine for the claims he made during the 2016 presidential election.

“The dollar figure represents about half of the cost of the federal investigation into the collusion claim, with the network noting that special counsel reports from Robert Mueller and John Durham debunked the claim,” the piece said.

The resolution Luna crafted says, “American taxpayers paid $32 million to fund the investigation into collusion that was launched as a result of Rep. Schiff’s lies, misrepresentations, and abuses of sensitive information.”

“The GOP Conference agrees that Adam Schiff has betrayed the trust of the American people, purposely abused positions of extreme authority, lied continuously, and as such, must be held to account,” Luna remarked. “Accordingly, the resolution requires Rep. Schiff to pay a $16 million dollar fine, half of the cost American taxpayers were forced to pay for the Russia hoax investigation.”

Schiff was one of the major players involved in the Russia collusion hoax. At the time, he was the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and insisted there was “direct evidence” of collusion between Russia and Trump.

Luna’s resolution explains that since Schiff was the head of the House Intelligence Committee, he was in a position of “extreme trust” that allowed him to have access to very sensitive information that was not available to other individuals. She then accused him of abusing that trust.

“By repeatedly telling these falsehoods, Representative Schiff purposely deceived his Committee, Congress, and the American people,” the resolution stated, before going on to add that he “lent credibility” to the now infamous and totally debunked Steele dossier, supported a FISA warrant against Trump aide Carter Page, and then leveled a public accusation against Page, claiming he was a Russian collaborator.

“Representative Schiff exploited his positions on HPSCI to encourage and excuse abusive intelligence investigations of Americans for political purposes,” the document explained. “Representative Schiff used his position and access to sensitive information to instigate a fraudulently based investigation, which he then used to amass political gain and fundraising dollars.”

In the following tweet, you can see that Schiff was basically the face of this hoax, but has yet to deal with any real consequences for his actions. Neither has Obama or Clinton for that matter.

This resolution needs to pass so we can ensure that politicians who participate in corrupt actions are punished and reminded that they are not above the law.

  1. Every last one of the actors need to be prosecuted to the fullest and fined! This includes, but is not limited to Obama, Hillary, Schiff, Biden, most of each of their administration, and members of the FBI, DOJ, and the CIA that helped facilitate the BIG LIE! This is truly an insult to our Country and the Citizens there of!! There definitely needs to be examples made of all!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sad part is that most likely nothing will happen to any of them.

    • My hat’s off to Rep Luna. I do not disagree with your sadness (NOTHING WILL HAPPEN). However just like the Democrats the Republicans should never stop pushing. Democrats use every tool in their toolbox to include attacking the lives of FBI agents to cover up their indiscretions. Their need to be a pushback stronger than the Democrats for them to stop. The biggest lie the Democrats have perpetuated on the American people is to convince the nation that they are the party that cares about “equal rights.” There is nothing equal in using the DOJ and swat teams to go after your political opponents and calling parents terrorist for asking questions as to what is best for their children. “The big push is now or never”.

We need to go after all of them including Lyen Biden the crook, and the rest of the socialist squad, they pushed it too including Bernie Sanders, they al, stood at the podium and said the same thing. The ones that did say it are not in this for the country, they are in it for socialism / communism, their own interest not ours, personal serving, impeach all of them and arrest them and trial them for treason and jail them crooks.
