(Congress Report) – Former President Donald Trump is striking back at the Justice Department for utilizing the FBI and other aspects of our legal system as a political weapon against him by preparing to file a massive $100 million lawsuit. The suit states that the raid, which happened in August 2022, on his Mar-a-Lago property was completed with “clear intent to engage in political persecution.” This is what it means to hold the radical left accountable for their violations of the Constitution. We can absolutely fight back against this madness without stooping to their level and committing acts of violence.
“The raid was based on allegations that Trump had improperly stored documents at Mar-a-Lago and ultimately provided the subterfuge to appoint an apparently illicit “special prosecutor” who proceeded to indict Trump on 37 felony counts,” RedState reported. “Trump attorney Daniel Epstein filed the notice to sue the Justice Department. The Justice Department has 180 days from the date of receipt to respond to Epstein’s notice and come to a resolution. If no resolution is made, Trump’s case will move to federal court in the Southern District of Florida.”
“What President Trump is doing here is not just standing up for himself – he is standing up for all Americans who believe in the rule of law and believe that you should hold the government accountable when it wrongs you,” one of Trump’s legal representatives, Daniel Epstein, said during an interview with Fox Business’ Lydia Hu.
Several areas are covered by the lawsuit. One of the claims it makes is that the reason for conducting the raid on Mar-a-Lago was not in agreement with DOJ policy and “inconsistent with protocols requiring the consent of an investigative target, disclosure to that individual’s attorneys, and the use of the local U.S. Attorney’s Office.”
The raid, along with the indictment that followed, were in violation of the “well-established protocol with former U.S. presidents is to use non-enforcement means to obtain records of the United States.” Later in the suit, it alleges that the conduct of the bureau “was inconsistent with protocols used in routine searches of an investigative target’s premises.” Normally, agents with the FBI should not be given shoot-to-kill instructions for premises that are protected by the Secret Service, nor should they have been permitted to search the former first lady’s underwear drawer for classified documents.
“You have clear evidence that the FBI failed to follow protocols, and the failure to follow protocols shows that there was an improper purpose. If the government is able to say, well, we don’t like someone, we can raid their home, we can violate their privacy, we can breach protocols when we decide to prosecute them, we can use the process to advance our personal motive–not a motive of justice–if someone doesn’t stand against that in a very public way and seek to obtain and protect their rights, then the government will have a mandate to roughshod over every American,” Trump’s lawyer continued.
Let’s hope we see those responsible at the DOJ brought to some kind of justice, even if it’s simply monetary in nature, for what they did to the president and what they’d ultimately like to do to you.

So WHO gets to pay for the legal fees and penalty ? I say if you are part of a government agency that is guilty of improper methods like at Mira Lago, you should pay the legal expenses, not the Taxpayer!
Trump is paying the legal expenses; he was not part of a government agency at the time dumbazz
Not only should Trump go for suing the agency. He should also go for the pension fund of every individual agent involved in the raid as well along with the pensions of their supervision, the director and everyone authorising the raid including the judge signing the warrant. He should then donate every cent to a veterans charity to help those who served the Nation Honorably rather than served a party politically. If he wins he can also fire and permanently revoke the clearance of everyone of them. Then he needs to do the same with the DOJ.
Hallelujah
GO GET UM TRUMP
