Election Red Flag: Your 2024 Ballot May Be Delayed Or Not Even Counted

(Congress Report) – One of the biggest fears for American voters going into the presidential election is that we’ll see a repeat of 2020 shenanigans. Tons of evidence exists that suggests the radical left managed to utilize mail-in ballots to their advantage in order to carry out the most extensive voter fraud scheme in our nation’s history. Many folks, both in Congress and just regular people, have formed organizations dedicated to election integrity in order to prevent such a disaster from happening a second time. Unfortunately, not much has been done about the issue.

And now, John Solomon, writer and founder of Just the News, reports that a postal service watchdog is warning some of the mail-in ballots could be delayed and end up not being counted. Why were steps not taken to prevent this? Four years have passed since the last presidential election, providing our government with plenty of time to take action and ensure we don’t repeat 2020.

“The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) failed to deliver political and election mail on time between 2% and 3% of the time during the 2024 primaries and the mail service’s chief watchdog warns in a new audit that some mailed ballots might be delayed or not counted in the November election because workers aren’t following required procedures,” Solomon wrote.

“We found that Postal Service personnel did not always comply with policy and procedures regarding all clear certifications, Election and Political Mail logs, and audit checklists,” the Postal Service Inspector General stated in a report released to the public this week. “In addition, we identified processes and policies that could pose a risk of delays in the processing and delivery of Election and Political Mail.”

“Further, we identified issues related to some Delivering for America operational changes that pose a risk of individual ballots not being counted,” the report, which was fully reviewed by Just the News, continued.

The chief internal watchdog for the organization created a list of ten recommendations for the USPS to improve their overall performance and to guard against failure in delivery for the upcoming election in November. However, he also warned that managers with the Postal Services have thus far disagreed with two of the solutions he presented.

“Opportunities exist for the Postal Service to improve readiness for timely processing and delivery of Election and Political Mail for the 2024 general election,” the report ended.

“The inspector general said it studied the Postal Service’s compliance with its election mail requirements during the lead up to and completion of early primary elections from Dec. 1, 2023, through April 1, 2024,” Solomon noted in his article. He also pointed out that the service is committed to providing Americans with timely delivery, but there’s a problem. Not all of the employees who work at the 15 mail processing facilities and 35 delivery units were following the rules and procedures.

“We found 12 of 15 (80 percent) mail processing facilities did not complete all clear certifications according to policy,” which exists to ensure that political mail gets processed by daily required deadlines.

The audit discovered “between two and 220 ballots at the seven facilities after completion of the all clear process.”

“Overall, ballots to voters were processed on time only on an average of 97.01 percent of the time, while ballots returned to election counting centers were processed about 98.17% of the time, the IG reported,” Solomon divulged.

“The National Conference of State Legislatures says that eight states, (California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington and the District of Columbia) allow all elections to be conducted entirely by mail; two states, (Nebraska and North Dakota) permit counties to opt into conducting elections by mail; nine states, (Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico and Wyoming) allow specific small elections to be conducted by mail; and four states, (Idaho, Minnesota, New Jersey and New Mexico) permit mostly-mail elections for certain small jurisdictions,” he penned.

This means that two to three percent of the ballots that disappear in the mail could result in tens of thousands of uncounted votes across the country this fall. In other words, this small percentage could be the difference between seeing former President Donald Trump take office next January or Biden handing the reins over to Vice President Kamala Harris. God help us if the latter happens.

That’s a nightmare scenario. We need to take every legal step we can to prevent that from occurring. Time is growing short.
