(Congress Report) – The Biden family is riddled with scandals, but you probably wouldn’t know it by the way the leftist media is covering them. Given the condition of mainstream media these days, which has gone from outlets primarily concerned with providing information to the general public and holding elected officials accountable, to being nothing more than propaganda makers for progressives, that’s not at all a shock.
Earlier this week, someone other than former President Donald Trump was put on trial: Hunter Biden. Yet, you likely won’t see the same level of coverage given to the president’s wayward son as you did to the alleged “hush money” trial against Trump that was put into motion by District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Wouldn’t want any kind of coverage to be aired or written about that could potentially add more negative spin to the president during an election year, right?
And Hunter Biden’s trial is not the only Biden family scandal being ignored by major news outlets like ABC, NBC, and CBS. There are several others.
As per Newsbusters, a report from the New York Post recently divulged that Hunter Biden capitalized off his father’s appearance at a memorial event for the victims in the Sandy Hook school shooting, coordinating a meeting between his dad and one of his Chinese business partners. This information was uncovered in a text message.
Here’s more from the Post, dated May 27th, which says, “On Dec. 12, 2017, Hunter messaged CEFC executive Liu Yadong on WeChat to arrange a meeting with his powerful dad, documents released this week by the House Ways and Means Committee revealed.”
“Can you meet this evening early,” Hunter remarked in messages obtained by IRS investigators. “My father will be in New York also and he wants me to attend the Sandyhook [sic] memorial service with him and I would like him to meet you along with my uncle [Jim Biden] and then you and I can talk let me know if that works.” “No problem,” Liu responded to Hunter. “Pls let me know where and when to meet.”
And yet, no major networks are discussing this.
Then, back on May 22nd, 2024, the Post again released a report discussing how the House Ways and Means Committee voted to release a hundred pages of brand new evidence that proves Hunter Biden lied while under oath to Congress during the testimony he provided in his February deposition.
Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, both whistleblowers from the IRS, disclosed that Hunter lied at least three times during his testimony.
“Hunter, 54, claimed he was ‘high or drunk’ when he sent a threatening text message to the wrong Chinese business associate — but phone records of the WhatsApp message show the associate, Raymond Zhao, responded and “knew exactly” what the president’s son was talking about when he asked to speak with the chairman of CEFC China Energy, Ye Jianming,” the Post stated.
“Sure. I need some time to reach him,” Zhao, who works as a translator for CEFC, commented in response over the next day. “CEFC is willing to cooperate with the family.”
The younger son of the president also exchanged messages with Zhao after he threatened him by stating he was “sitting” with his dear old dad, then-vice president, and noted they both would “hold a grudge” if the translator went back on a commitment.
“Ziegler also provided documents to the committee showing that Hunter signed off on and was the ‘beneficial owner’ of a Rosemont Seneca Bohai bank account — despite his testimony that it was not ‘under my control nor affiliated with me’ and he ‘didn’t even know that there was such a thing’ as a corporate secretary of an entity,'” the piece said.
Another scandal being overlooked by the major news networks is Hunter’s claims that he never introduced his dad to an executive from Burisma, despite the fact all of them had dinner together.
On May 20th an article from the Post revealed, “Indicted first son Hunter Biden suggested in a new interview that he didn’t introduce his father to an executive from a Ukrainian gas company that was paying Hunter a million-dollar salary — despite testifying to Congress that then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with the very same Burisma Holdings executive. The 54-year-old brazenly backpedaled days after a fresh report that “sugar brother” Kevin Morris, who has bankrolled Hunter since meeting him at a presidential campaign fundraiser in late 2019, is ‘completely tapped out’ after giving or loaning the scandal-plagued Biden at least $4.9 million.”
Politico also busted the president’s brother, Jim Biden, in a write-up published on April 28th, which read, “New details about Jim Biden’s foreign fundraising efforts are spilling out in a Kentucky bankruptcy court, where recent testimony indicates that President Joe Biden’s brother partnered with Qatari government officials in his quest to find money for U.S. health care ventures.”
“The sworn testimony by fund manager Michael Lewitt, a former business partner of Jim Biden’s, attests that two companies that facilitated the efforts were part-owned by ‘members of the Qatari government,'” it continued.
And how about when the CIA prevented the so-called “sugar brother” mentioned above from being interviewed by Federal law enforcement officials concerning President Biden’s ever wayward son over his alleged tax crimes?
“House Oversight and Judiciary Committee chairmen say the whistleblower informed them the intelligence agency stopped IRS and Justice Department investigators from interviewing Morris in August 2021, a Hollywood lawyer and patron of the first son, according to a Thursday letter addressed to CIA Director William Burns,” the Post wrote.
“The whistleblower informed Oversight chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Judiciary chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) that two DOJ officials were summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Va. — and told Morris “could not be a witness” for their investigation into Hunter Biden,” it continued.
“It is unknown why or on what basis the CIA allegedly intervened to prevent investigators from interviewing Mr. Morris,” Comer and Jordan went on to say in the letter. “However, these allegations track with other evidence showing how the DOJ deviated from its standard investigative practices during the investigation of Hunter Biden.”
Wouldn’t it be nice if the media did its actual job and reported on the truth rather than acting as a buffer to protect Biden for the sake of an election?
