(Congress Report) – There’s a phrase in popular culture today that says if a company goes woke, they go broke. However, the vast majority of corporations out there believe they are immune to such consequences, so they continue to push the progressive agenda down the throats of the American people, much to their peril. Apparently, these big businesses have to learn this lesson the hard way. And there are plenty of individuals in the culture who are willing to be their instructors.
In fact, beer giant Anheuser-Busch is learning this lesson right this very moment, after watching its value plummet by roughly $5 billion ever since Bud Light announced a partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. Ouch. That’s definitely going to hurt the bottom line. Surely board members are not happy with this new turn of events.
Brian Flood of Fox News writes, “As of Wednesday’s close, Anheuser-Busch has fallen 5.02% and lost $4.562 billion in market cap, according to Dow Jones Market Data Group. The stock was $66.73 per share on March 31 and closed at $63.38 on Wednesday. An analysis on the matter was first published in the New York Post.”
“Mulvaney, a trans activist and social media influencer who gained prominence when given an opportunity to interview President Biden about LGBTQ issues in 2022, revealed earlier this month that the beer company sent packs of Bud Light with her face printed on the cans as part of an ad for the beer company’s March Madness contest and as a way to celebrate a full year of ‘girlhood,'” Flood continues.
The transgender activist divulged that the cans were his “most prized possession” in a post published on Instagram, along with #Budlightpartner in the caption. A video showed Mulvaney in a bathtub drinking Bud Light as part of the campaign, however the partnership was immediately met with severe, and very much deserved criticism.
“Anheuser-Busch stock plummeting comes as country music singer John Rich said he pulled cases of Bud Light from his Nashville, Tennessee, bar as part of a boycott against Anheuser-Busch; conservative rocker Kid Rock used several Bud Light cases for target practice in a viral video; and there has been widespread backlash on social media while beer distributors are concerned,” Fox News reports.

When Anheuser-Busch was asked about the drop in stock value, they did not immediately reply to Fox News’ request.
“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics. From time to time we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public,” an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson later told Fox News.
Harry Schuhmacher, editor and publisher with Beer Business Daily, stated earlier this week that Anheuser-Busch distributors in rural areas are now “spooked” about the backlash the company is facing due to the partnership and their doubling down on it.
“This is probably the biggest controversy we’ve seen in a long time,” Schuhmacher noted in a statement to Fox News Digital. “There was a little bit of worry, especially in the South and the Midwest and especially in rural areas where retailers were reporting the, you know, their customers weren’t happy with Bud Light and some retailers themselves weren’t happy with Bud Light.”
Vivek Ramaswamy, a potential GOP presidential candidate, gave Bud Light a scathing rebuke on Wednesday in an opinion piece that was published on Fox News Digital.
“Now the King of Beers is paying homage to the newest cultural zeitgeist by paying trans activist Dylan Mulvaney to prod grown men into dressing like Audrey Hepburn while drinking beer. For a drink that was once a blue-collar staple of middle America, this isn’t a winning sales strategy. It’s a way for the CEO to signal his virtue while alienating a customer base that is too afraid to say so out loud,” Ramaswamy remarked.

This is so hilarious, it takes a real idiot to use a person that is not “respected”, not “loved”, not that “people want to be like” to sell your product.
Now people get to say if you want to be a transgender, then just drink Bud Light, and you will find very few and very far between those who want to be associated with that outcome, and they don’t want others thinking that they might if they are seen drinking Bud Light.
Does it take a genius to figure that out?
Anheuser-Busch will never even start to get back those billions of dollars in sales and stock value until they fire their executive(s) who approved this idiotic advertisement campaign. So let the damage keep coming and do nothing until your stock is worth nothing, then it will be too late to do anything.
Now if you find anyone drinking a Bud Light in a bar or a saloon, you’ve probably also found a transgender or transgender want-to-be.
Fire your CEO. He/she is politicizing a beer at a time when the topic of being transgender is so volatile. Americans are under so much stress and anxiety from this administration that the last thing they need to deal with is boycotting their preferred beer when they should be enjoying a cold beer to relax and get away from all the problems we now encounter. Stay out of politics! We have many pool parties and we and most friends drink Bud Light……but no more. Have switched to other good lagers and ask family and friends to please not bring Bud Light to our house. Wake up Budweiser before you go the way of other woke companies that are going or have have gone by the wayside for sticking you campaign nose into political areas that will only harm your company and your employees.
All Anheuser-Busch products should be boycotted, until the company admits to and apologizes for its mistake and the person(s) responsible are fired! This transgender phobia is disgracefull and not normal. This type of behavior should not be condoned by a company as appropriate. These individuals need psychiatric help!
I actually saw a video of the Budweiser VP (woman) who first insulted their several millions of drinkers by calling them “brutes” or something like that (I couldn’t hear her word very well), but she was complaining about the “type” of drinkers who support Bud. Then said she was adding a million new customers with more …. trendy… etc. focus? I couldn’t believe it. It’s one thing to want to add another group of drinkers; but typical of the WOKE STUPIDITY THAT DON’T REALIZE THE LARGE MAJORITY OF U.S. CITIZENS KNOW THEY’RE OUT OF THEIR MINDS, PLAYING POLITICS; WITHOUT ANY, NONE, ZERO, COMMON SENSE OR RESPECT FOR THE “MAJORITY”. It is what will be happening more and more; as Democrats fund, support, “throw in your face”, use taxpayer funds to support their issues;. and law abiding citizens are dying due to their funding/gifting/supporting of CRIMINALS, ILLEGALS, CREEPS(CHILD ABUSERS); as they are killing, destroying the future of our nation and citizens.
