Americans Shocked By Jill Biden’s Christmas Decorations — Where’s Melania When You Need Her?

(Congress Report) – First Lady Jill Biden decided that she had one last slap to deliver across the face of the American people before she and her husband leave office in January. She was put in charge, as is usually the case for the first lady, of decorating the White House for Christmas. The decorations that went up around the president’s mansion are absolutely atrocious. It’s an offense to eyeballs everywhere. The only way such a travesty could ever be excused is if the person doing the decorating was blind.

We need Melania Trump back in charge of this stuff pronto. She did a fabulous job of making the White House look classy for the holiday season, the way it should be seeing as it is an iconic representation of our country before the eyes of the world.

“According to the Associated Press, the theme of the decorations — to the extent it could be called a theme — was “A Season of Peace and Light.” I’ve seen more tactful decorations at a “December to Remember Sales Event” at a Lexus dealership. Here’s a first look at what the “season of peace and light” looked like at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. when it was revealed Monday,” C. Douglas Wilson wrote in his report for The Western Journal.

“The festive display includes a towering Christmas tree surrounded by an amusement park-style carousel, brass-colored bells and sleigh bells lining a hallway, and a ceiling design that mimics snowfall,” the AP disclosed in its piece. As Golden notes in his article, you have to be on some strong psychedelics in order to think any of this resembles a snowfall. Which is ironic given Hunter’s history with illicit substances.

Now let’s compare this with what Melania Trump did when she was the first lady. You’ll see a marked difference.

“More than 300 volunteers spent the past week decorating the White House’s public spaces and its 83 Christmas trees with nearly 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) of ribbon, more than 28,000 ornaments, over 2,200 paper doves and some 165,000 lights used on wreaths, garlands and other displays,” the AP stated.

“This would not be possible without your work,” the first lady said to the crew of volunteers. “It’s been incredible to watch all of you transform this space year after year, and you traded time with families for hours of gluing.”

Thankfully, the adults are returning to the White House in just a month. I can’t wait. Can you?
